About

Fast Loris Studios, originally known as Gaslight Games, was established in 2008 as a MOD team to compete in the Epic Games and Intel Make Something Unreal contest. In 2009, they shifted their focus to developing a VR horror game for the Get in the Game event.

Supported by Sony, Get in the Game provided independent video game developers with an opportunity to present their ideas to industry leaders and potentially secure funding and support from SCEE’s finest.

In 2010, the studio released their first game, Skin Ink, and entered it into the Dare with Bamboo contest, organized by Wacom, the world’s largest manufacturer of art tablets. Skin Ink won the competition, leading to an excellent partnership with Wacom.

Fast Loris Studios gained recognition in 2011, featuring in prominent magazines such as Making Games and EDGE, and conducted workshops at the British Science Festival.

In 2014, following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Master of the Seven Teas was released across mobile and OUYA platforms.

Since 2014, the studio has undertaken diverse third-party projects, from mobile and console to tablet and PC games, even expanding to custom setups like 30ft giant screens.

In 2023, Fast Loris Studios began developing Walkies: Tails of the Sanctuary, an original IP where players assume the role of a dog on a mission to save an animal sanctuary.

In 2024, the company changed its name from Gaslight Games to Fast Loris Studios which you can read more about here.
