Happy-go-lucky Bailey the beagle, is on a heroic mission to try to save a local rescue centre, with help from furry (and not so furry) friends!

Mighty Oaks Animal Sanctuary is crumbling. The current owner, Victoria Broome, inherited the large parcel of land and its associated buildings from a distant relative. She is not rich by any means, but with a longstanding city career behind her, she looks to Mighty Oaks as a chance – her chance – to do good in the world for the variety of animals who call the sanctuary their home and have no one else to help them.
Victoria has savings that she can use to keep the sanctuary going in the short term, but the wagons are circling and if she doesn’t raise some more money soon, the property will be repossessed and all the animals left homeless.
Bailey is a rescue beagle who was adopted from a local shelter and is thrilled to start a new life in Mighty Oaks – a place that, even run down, seems like paradise. Seeing their new owner struggling with the centre they decide to do anything they can to help and the more they do, the more the donations start to roll in. Across Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring, Bailey finds various jobs to do, new areas to explore and different animals to help.
A stranger arrives at the sanctuary, and things start to go wrong. Accidents, sabotage and threats put Victoria and the animals in danger. Who is this stranger and what do they want? Can Bailey stop them before they destroy Mighty Oaks?
